Basic fuctions
1. How to use Rokid Air glasses?
Rokid Air supports two modes:
1) In Screen Casting modes, the Rokid AR app is not required. After connecting your Rokid Air glasses to a device, you can view a big-screen version of the content displayed on the device.
2) In AR mode, the Rokid AR app is required. After installing the app on your phone and connecting your glasses, you can view all of the available default and third-party AR content.
2. How to play 3D video on my phone?
There are two ways to watch 3D video on your phone.
Method 1:
1) Install the Rokid AR app on your phone.
2) Open the app and import 3D resources to the in-app 3D video player.
3) Press and hold the right temple button on your glasses for 8 seconds to activate 3D mode.
4) Adjust the video left&right or up&down in the player as needed.
Method 2:
1) Install the Rokid AR app and watch online or offline 3D video through the browser.
Notes:
1) In some locations, app stores also offer third-party online AR video apps in which you can watch 3D movies and TV online.
2) 3D video will not display 3D effects when the glasses are connected via a wireless adapter.
3. How to use voice commands?
Voice control is available in AR mode only. Open Settings while offline to view all effective voice commands.
4. How to use the buttons on the the right temple of the glasses?
The right temple button has two functions:
1) Adjusting the display brightness: Press the button to choose from the six available brightness levels.
2) Switching to 3D mode: Press and hold the right button for 8 seconds.
5. Can I use the glasses to take pictures or screenshots?
The Rokid Air glasses do not have a camera, so they cannot be used to take pictures. Screenshots can be taken in AR mode.
6. How to turn off the glasses when they are not in use?
The display will turn off automatically after you remove the glasses. If you do not use the device for a long time, it is recommended that you unplug it.
7. Can people nearby see what I'm seeing and hear what I'm hearing?
Only if someone is extremely close to you can they see a small section of what you're viewing through the lenses.
Rokid Air glasses use directional speakers, so under normal circumstances, people nearby cannot hear what you're hearing. You can also connect the glasses to Bluetooth headphones.
